Le Pesquier comes from a single micro-plot of 63-year-old Carignan located in Aniane, at an altitude of around 80 meters. The vineyard is surrounded by garrigue and planted on poor clay-limestone soils that naturally limit vigour.
Wild lavender, an emblematic plant of the Mediterranean garrigue, symbolizes freshness, purity, and resilience. It evokes the vineyard’s deep connection to the Aniane landscape and the free expression of this Carignan.
